PTI Make it Monday & Cards & Scrap challenge 239

Vandaag een kaartje voor de Cards & Scrap challenge 239. Het is de bedoeling dat je een vorm uitstanst en daar papier achter plakt. Ik heb in mijn geval het papier aan de binnenkant van mijn kaart geplakt en de voorkant open gelaten. De tekst in de binnenkant valt precies achter het bannertje op de voorkant. Verder heb ik hem heel strak en fris gehouden.

De make-it-monday challenge van deze week is eigenlijk dezelfde techniek. Je vind het filmpje (met een geweldig mooie kaart van Danielle Flanders!!!) hier.

PTI Make it Monday #204 Paper Smooching

Gisteravond laat nog even een kaartje gemaakt naar aanleiding van de Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge van deze week. Het filmpje met de Watercolor Smooshing techiek van Betsy Veldman vind je hier. Ik heb uiteindelijk distress inkt gebruikt want die werkte wat beter dan de Papertrey inkten maar ik vind het een leuke techniek om vaker te gebruiken voor achtergronden.

Stempels: PTI/ irresistibly Ikat, Movers & Shakers sentiments -  Inkt : Ranger distress/ mowed lawn, evergreen bough, shaded lilac. Verder: Craft cardstock, Aquarel papier, washi tape, Ranger distress spray picket fence, div. sequins.

PTI Make it Monday #190 - stamping a plaid background

My second blogpost today since I like to join the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge; 'Stamping a plaid background'. I love plaid patterns and choosing your own colours and stamp it by yourself is so much fun. You can see how easy it is in the video from Ashley here. I really like the result from my attempt. I think it matches the tick tock set perfectly!

PTI Make it Monday #128 random background stamping

Finally I had the time to play along with this weeks MIM. I couldn't wait to pull out my brush stroke set which was the first thing that popped up in my mind when I saw the technique Ashley showed us. I love the energy in her example and wanted to create the same feeling of fun and energy in my card. I used my new neon ink from Hero Arts since I think they fit the theme very well.
