Color Throwndown #225

Today I made a card in response of the Color Throwndown #225. These colors made me think of the seventies since my bedroom was decorated in these colors back than. I tried to keep that feeling making this card! Stamps: PTI Heart-2-heart #7 and #9, Movers & shakers sentiments.

Elke kaart een feestje, uitdaging 150

Vandaag mijn eerste bijdrage aan het designteam van 'Elke kaart een Feestje'. De uitdaging deze week is clean & simple. Dit mag via een serie kaartjes van 10 x 10 of een CAS layout. De uitdaging wordt gesponsord door stempelfeest die een prachtige stempelset van StampinUp beschikbaar hebben gesteld. Een goede reden om mee te doen dacht ik zo!

Mijn pagina en kaartjes zijn gebaseerd op dezelfde layout. Ook heb ik hetzelfde papier gebruikt. Het is gemakkelijk om na het maken van je layout van je restjes snel wat kaartjes te maken zodat je altijd een voorraadje hebt liggen. Het papier heb je dan toch al bij elkaar gezocht dus dat scheelt weer een hoop tijd! 

De tekst op de layout is een quote die ik op Pinterest vond. Ik vind het altijd leuk om mooie teksten te bewaren om ze later te scrappen.

De stempel die ik op de kaarten heb gebruikt is van Hero Arts en de tekstjes zijn van Papertrey Ink. 

Ik hoop dat ik jullie hiermee geïnspireerd heb om ook een poging te wagen. Succes, ik ben benieuwd naar jullie creaties!

Black/White + a splah of color

For the first time I played along with the weekly 'Simon Sais Stamp Challenge'. I wanted to make a 'with sympathy' card and thought that the 'black/white + splash of color' was the perfect color scheme for this.

Make it Monday #99 Repeats and Rainbows

I had so little time for cardmaking this week but the Papertrey Ink MIM#99 challenge was to tempting! Luckily it is so fast and easy to create cards this way! I love the rainbow schemes that are chosen by Nichole. I tried number one yesterday but I am really gonna try the other ones as well in the future.

For this card I used my new framed out #11 set and Think Big Favorites #22 I added a bit of angel dust for some sparkle. Thanks for watching!

Elke kaart een feestje uitdaging 149

CR84FN69 Color challenge

Today I played along with the color challenge from CR84FN69. These happy colors are just what I need on this rainy day! I stamped the Raspberry and Lavender on some vintage paper with my turning a new leave stamps from Papertrey Ink. The label and butterfly stamp are from Hero Arts.

Make it Monday #98

A little boy was born in our street, I decided to make him a card and in faux chalk art and enter it in Papertrey Ink's make it Monday 

I love to  mix and match my stamp sets. This technique is perfect for mixing stamps, one of the reasons why I love this technique, it is so much fun to do! I used a lot of stamps today; Heart 2 heart #9, Sweet talk (Yes I did cut the rope stamp from this set!), global greetings - Dutch, Falling leaves, Tiny Tags and Stitched sentiments. (all PTI)
