PTI Februari blog hop challenge

I do love the watercolor trend in cardland! For this challenge I used some distress ink in spring colors and a lot of water to create the background. I layered colors, drips and drops until I was satisfied with the result. After that  I stamped the Meadow Greens flowers in black and added some gemstones.

Beursaanbieding

Ik had me stellig voorgenomen geen geld uit te geven dit weekend. Tot Sverre op het idee kwam naar de Crea-dagen in Eindhoven te gaan. Hmm, mijn weerstand tegen hobbyspullen is erg beperkt moet ik zeggen. (Evenals mijn weerstand tegen chocolade maar dat terzijde!)

Deze leuke stempelsset van Inkadinkadoe voor maar €2,-!! Tja, die kan ik dan toch niet laten liggen......

Om mezelf er te van overtuigen dat ik deze stempel ook echt nodig had ben ik er vandaag meteen mee aan de slag gegaan.

Een hele dag zoet voor 2 euro! Soms moet je gewoon niet teveel vasthouden aan goede voornemens! ;-)

Simon Says Stamp Februari kit 3

Ik kon vanwege de storm niet in slaap komen. Ben maar weer een kaartje gaan maken met mijn SSS-februari kit, daarna als een roosje in slaap gevallen!

Hero Arts Birthday challenge

This card I made with one of my new Hero Arts background stamps. I bought the Zebra Print, Five line background and Tiny flags. I use these stamps a lot and love the ones that are mounted on wood because they last forever! (and they are a nice decoration in my scrapping-room!)  I think sthese stamps are like basic supplies which you can use in so many different ways that they never bore you. 

I stamped the tiny flags twice in pink en orange neon and combined the background with the Newsprint bird which is also from Hero Arts. I diecut the word 'Birthday" from plastic foil which I also had in these Neon colors. For the rest from the sentiment I used the chalkboard technique since the black really made the Neons pop.

PTI Make it Monday #151 Drop shadow diecuts

Simon Says Stamp Februari Kit 2

Met een zwaar griephoofd toch nog twee kaartjes weten te produceren met de SSS-kit van Februari. Al wil het lijf niet meewerken vandaag het blijft toch verleidelijk als je bureau vol nieuwe stempels en papier ligt...

De leuke koffiekopjes zijn van Hero Arts

Work it Wednesday - Birthday Fishes

 Voor een vismaat van Alex heb ik deze 'Birthday Fishes' kaart gemaakt. Ik heb hiervoor een echt vishaakje uit de viskoffer van Alex gestolen, dus ik hoop niet dat hij hem mist... Het papier is van de Simon Says Stamp Februari kit en met de verf hieruit heb ik het haakje wit geschilderd. Het schattige visje is van Paper Smooches en ingekleurd met copics.
